Dentures are suitable options for people of all ages who require many new teeth, whether that is due to decay, necessary removal, damage, or accidental loss of teeth. Full dentures are required when there are too many missing teeth to form a bridge or it is not feasible to create partial dentures. Often times there are a few teeth left in a patient’s mouth – they will actually be removed in favor of having all new teeth. Full dentures are first designed and verified with the patient, then a test mold is created and worn by the patient. If it fits well and remains so for a period of time, the dentist will proceed with the creation of the final set.
